WAR: Ravenettes: Party all night long (1/1)
by Claudia

Place: The Raven Party
Time: A little after midnight

The party at the Raven was in full swing and everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. Swiping an unruly strand of hair off her face, Claudia decided to take a break from dancing and headed towards the bar.

"Ginger ale, please."

"Sure I can't get you something stronger?" Miklos asked her, winking. "How 'bout a shot of tequila?"

Smiling, Claudia shook her head. She never should have told him about her infamous tequila experiment; he was having way too much fun at her expense. "No, thanks. The ginger ale's just fine."

Grinning, Miklos placed a tall, icy glass in front her. "Enjoy."

Tasting her drink, Claudia climbed on a stool to give her poor legs a break. She'd been dancing all night long and she deserved a breather. If she was going to have trouble walking tomorrow she'd blame it on Teresa; she was a great DJ and it was simply *impossible* to sit still to the music she played. Still, glancing towards the dance floor, Claudia supposed she had it easy. Poor Alex looked like he could really use a break. Since Jason had informed them that unless he got a direct order from Janette he would not be gracing the floor, all the Ravenettes had turned to Alex. And he'd been fulfilling his duty admirably; there wasn't a single Ravenette he hadn't danced with, and the night was still young.

"Having fun?" Kimmer appeared next to Claudia.

"Is the Pope Catholic?" Claudia grinned and nodded towards the crowd. "Can we throw a party, or can we throw a party?"

"Yep, I think we did it again." Kimmer smiled proudly. The Raven party was always an Event with a capital E. It took a lot of work and planning to put it all together but in the end it was always worth it.

Kimmer's thoughts were interrupted by her rumbling stomach, reminding her that she'd been too busy to eat all evening. "I'm starving. Wanna go grab a bite?"

"Sure." Claudia hopped down from her stool. "Oh, and remind me to try Mindi's Red Velvet Cake later. I heard someone say it's to die for."

And the party went on....
